Welcome to Westgate

November 18, 2019

With 225 000 ft² of meeting space, including 14 conference rooms and a 35 000 ft² ballroom, the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino provides plenty of accommodations and amenities for this year’s Annual Conference. But conference accommodations are only part of what Westgate has to offer. With numerous options for entertainment, dining, and shopping, along with a casino that features the largest race and sports book in the world, conference attendees can easily enjoy a quintessential Las Vegas experience.

The Westgate’s casino offers 95 000 ft² of classic gaming experiences, with a highlight being the SuperBook®. Visitors can watch live sporting events on the 220 x 18 ft 4K video wall and partake in the largest wagering menu in Nevada. For anyone new to sports betting, the area is staffed with friendly professionals ready to explain the betting combinations.

Beyond gambling, Westgate offers numerous entertainment options onsite. Attendees can choose between comedy, magic, or music without having to leave the conference venue. Comedian George Wallace, whose accolades include winning first prize against 150 other comedians in the cable television special “The Big Laugh Off,” performs his show Wallace@Westgate, while magician Jen Kramer amazes audiences with illusions and mentalism that incorporate comedy and audience participation. Fans of music can check out the Soul of Motown, a tribute show that pays homage to the legends of the genre.

The dining options at Westgate are as varied as the entertainment. Fans of Asian cuisine will want to check out the Benihana Village area. The flagship restaurant here is obviously the Benihana, where diners can enjoy Japanese cuisine and watch their meals be prepared exhibition-style on Teppan grills. The area also includes Silk Road Asian Bistro, which blends Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese cuisine; Bar Sake and Robata Grill, showcasing Robata-style cooking in which meat and vegetables are slow grilled on skewers; and Rikki Tiki Sushi, offering both artistic and traditional sushi creations.

While the Benihana Village area recreates a Japanese garden, Fresco Italiano transports visitors to a Tuscan villa. The Westgate is also the home of Edge Steakhouse, the #1 rated Las Vegas steakhouse according to TripAdvisor. If you want a meal while visiting the SuperBook, Nacho Tacos Authentic Mexican is located inside the SuperBook wing. Westgate also features pizza, frozen yogurt, homestyle American cuisine, a number of bars, and a classic Las Vegas-style buffet.

Along with entertainment and dining options, Westgate offers a variety of shopping, an indoor and outdoor pool, and a full-service spa. While there are plenty of ways to keep busy in the Westgate, conference attendees will also have easy access to other attractions on the Las Vegas Strip, as the Westgate has an onsite station for the Las Vegas Monorail, with trains arriving every four to eight minutes. Between its own offerings and this convenient method of transportation, the Westgate is the perfect hub for a stay in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
